RANT: PEOPLE FROM FANDOMS SUCK!

Its official. People from fandoms suck. 

Okay that was just honest frustration talking but still I just can't believe what jerks there are out there. One of my dear friends was victimized by people from the Final Fantasy fandom. Thats not an exaggeration I read the posts one of them wrote to my friend I quote:

"This is complete shit. You're nothing but a mary sue making bitch who sucks out all the meaning in creativity. You should just stop drawing entirely and save dA from the eyesore you call your art!"


That alone filled me to the core with seething anger. Now I did not post this particular deviants name up simply because I have no wish to stoop to the level of having them become harassed (though lord knows they deserve it) but this particular person knows who they are and should be ashamed. 

My friend is 13 years old, and she is just learning how to make characters. Are her fan characters poorly developed and in all honesty mary sues? I'd be lying if I said no, but still people, this is a girl just coming into teens and is trying her hand at a new art style do you think that bashing her every which way is going to teach her anything? Do you think that instead of offering good and valuable critiques rather than overzealous fan spews and nitpicking will make her willing to change anything about her style?

Lets just say you people who bullied her, you made her cry. Congrats and be ever so proud of yourself for you have made a little girl fucking cry. By god do we seriously live in a world where we bully people over something as stupid and silly as the creation of a fan character? It just astounds me that the world has shown to be even more petty and sad than i had originally thought. 

And to another one of the idiots who wrote my friend saying:

"You and every other damn OC creator in this world is the reason why there is no more artistic integrity anymore you stupid bitch." 

No. YOU are the reason there is no more artistic integrity you moron who can find nothing better to do than to pick on a poor defenseless girl simply because you can hide behind the computer screen and not have to face the fact that you're heartless.
